Fleece or thinsulate lined leather or other material gloves capable of keeping out
the wet and the cold.
UV protected, anti glare, photocromatic sunglasses.
Appropriate non-skid rubber soled boots suitable for motorcycling, and suitable
footwear for use when you are not riding.
Small day rucksack (bag).
Personal toiletries kit (Toilet paper, paper soap in pouch, soap, toothbrush,
toothpaste, shaving razor & cream etc).
Personal medicines and first aid kit.
Note book and pen.
Sun cream and lip guard. (LOTS of each).

Full face helmet with chinstrap.
1 pair thick rubber soled, quick drying slip on shoes to change into before glacial
melt crossings so that one’s riding boots and socks remain dry.
1 bath towel to be carried with your luggage and 1 medium sized face towel to be
carried on your bike to dry your feet/self when needed (e.g. after a glacial melt crossing).
Matchboxes/lighter, scissors/knife, candle, rope (about 50 m).
Plastic sheet to cover your luggage in case of rain.
