At ground level the most important thing is your tire. Ensure that you
have adequate tread on them. A new set of tires helps you stay away from
hassles of puncture and undue stoppages.
Get the rims balanced; this will save you from tilted spokes and broken
spirits. It also helps us stay away from embarrassment.
Genuine products always last long and are easy to maintain.
Repair the shock absorbers if you think they are not well enough for the
ride.
Change the fork seals if your bike is more than 1 year old. If your
springs have sagged or your main tube has worn out get them replaced.
Replace the rear swingarm bush if needed.
Weary chains and sprockets need to be changed for a smooth ride.
Bikes clutch need to be clean and supported for the rigors of hard
riding.
Do not take a faulty battery with you. Full force of elements might
hinder it beyond repair.
Change all bent or frayed connections/pipes. Absence of common sense may
invalidate you in powerful but dangerous terrain.
Tighten and get the bolts tightened before you leave the lap of your
home.
