The Himalayan Honor Expedition will leave Chandigarh on the 18th June, 2011. The expedition will pass through Udhampur, Drass, Kargil, Leh, Chang La, Khardung La, Zoji La to end at Chandigarh on the 26th June, 2011.
This expedition is not about relaxation or finding the true meaning of life, instead it is for hard riding. We are not a group of entreprenuers who help sissies in earning their colors. We take hard made men and turn them into titans. These titans are then made to fight nature and gods to reach their destinations. Destinations which mere mortals fear to tread or tread with technological supports.
We never called ourselves organisers or corporates, we call ourselves facilitators. We facilitate the pain, the concentration and the guts which are needed for this honor. We might be called classicals when men tamed mountains with their sheer skill and guts. This expedition is about glory and honor, so let;s participate and make this trip the highlight of this year.

- Day 1 (18th June, 2011): Chandigarh to UdhampurWe ride from Chandigarh and using the highways of Punjab make way towards Udhampur in Jammu. The ride would be pleasant but associated with traffic. You will be able to see the fields and feel the open spaces surrounding you. This doesn't mean that we are not going to push you. We will push you to complete 361kms in one day.The night will greet you in Jammu, where your stay would be plaesant and rejuvenating.
- Day 2 (19th June, 2011): Udhampur to SrinagarThe city of Srinagar is a gateway to some of the most scenic and beautiful places of the Indian subcontinent. A city of lakes and beautiful people, the scenery is beyond words. This place doesn’t need comprehension; all it needs is the feeling which promulgates your very being.
- Day 3 (20th June, 2011): Srinagar to KargilA small town with less than 10,000 inhabitants and at more than 8000 feet vividly explains how beauty could be found at the rugged of the places. Kargil found it’s way into largesse psychology after the infamous war which Pakistan started and India ended.
- Day 4 (21th June, 2011): Kargil to LehScenic rides mixed with serene surroundings only broken by the thunder of bikes. At this place, the ride becomes one with the rider. The bike ceases to exist as physicality; it becomes a concept, an extension of rider. The town’s facade will welcome the weary but proud Titans.
- Day 5 (22th June, 2011): Leh to Khardung LaLeh is not the destination; it is just an excuse for reaching close to immortality. There is another titanic place close to leh, which Khardung La. This is made of stuff invented by legends. This legendary road is carved not through earth but through clouds at 18500 feet. After the touch of sky, we’ll be back at the comfort of our beds in Leh.
- Day 6 (23th June, 2011): LehLast day in Leh is for all to enjoy, shop, eat and to bask in the wonderful treats all over Leh. There are places to visit, experiences to have and solitude to contemplate.
- Day 7 (24th June, 2011): Leh to DrassWith an early start, we would be crossing one of the most difficult passes in the region - Zoji La. This pass will test our endurance, stamina and will power. The fog reins down on this pass at any time of the day, thus making it a very challenging ride. This pass or “la” is run not by men but abgels who look out for men, military and machines.
- Day 8 (25th June, 2011): Drass to UdhampurOnce more the might of Zoji La will test the Huns. The test passed, Huns will move towards Udhampur. The sights of Sonmarg and hot piping Maggi helps the nerves to cool down and enjoy. The sights would look more beautiful as the tension of riding will ease as home starts to feel closer.
- Day 9 (26th June, 2011): Udhampur to ChandigarhAfter a night’s rest and cold shower, Huns would start early, passing through Pathankot. Making way through Ropar, Kurali, Chandigarh beckons. The expedition started out with men but it would end with TITANS.
